I'm trying to send messages to a pager through SMTP. I believe this may have to do with authentication required on our Exchange server. However, I can't find a place in PageGate to enter a user name and password. Below is the message I get (I've replaced our mail server with mail.mail.com):
3/20/2006 7:36:23 PM Trying host: mail.mail.com
3/20/2006 7:36:40 PM Connected to: mail.mail.com
3/20/2006 7:36:40 PM Disconnected
3/20/2006 7:36:40 PM Message not accepted
3/20/2006 7:36:40 PM Failed Attempt Stn:0 To:monitor Frm:test Msg:test
Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

Well, I hate to say it, but there's not much you can do. We don't actually have a way to pass authentication to the Exchange Server.

Is there a higher level product than PageGate that does pass authentication?

Sorry, I mean, specifically, a higher level of one of your products that does pass authentication?

Unfortunately, no. PageGate does not support SSL or SMTP authentication for outbound SMTP delivery.
