Disable calling webgate.exe directly

Hello,

I installed WebGate in ASP.NET application on IIS server.
The web application has form-based authentication, but I found that anyone can call webgate.exe directly by entering proper URL and bypassing the authentication.

Is there any way to disable calling webgate.exe directly from url?


Security can be a big issue, because we don't want anyone send messages to everybody.

In IIS, have you tried to set the same security/authentication on the scripts folder? Since you already authenticate on the form, it may not ask you again for the same information but it should prompt a called URL request.
