Hello,
I am working on testing failover function of pagegate.
First it tries to send a message via internet(SNPP) and the ID should include area code.
If internet connection is disabled, it will try to send it via modem, (American Messaging (formerly SBC/Ameritech)). But at this time, it should NOT contain the area code.
Is there a way that I can setup the area code of ID/PIN number somewhere, so it automatically adds the area code for the SNPP, but not for modem?
I don't want to create two recipients for the same number....
Thank you very much in advance!!!!

Unfortunately, the only way to really do what you want is to set up two recipients for each person - one recipient with and one recipient without the area code, then set the failover for the recipient with the area code to the one without the area code.
There's not really a way to have two ID/PIN's for one recipient, it's a static bit of information. |
