You will need to setup PageGate's GetAscii interface to use a shared folder that both machines have access to. Once this is setup you will find two executable in that folder (sendpage.exe and sendpage32.exe). The program you want to run will depend on the calling application. If the calling application can only run 16-bit external programs, then you should use sendpage.exe. If the calling applicaton can run 32-bit external programs, then use sendpage32.exe. Here is the format for the commandline:
sendpage <recipient> <sender> <message>
sendpage32 can be substitued for sendpage for 32-bit application calls
<recipient> is a valid PageGate recipient or group name
<sender> is a single word that will be sent in the message as the sender of the message
<message> is a multi-word message
Many programs like Insight Manager support the use of variables or macros that enable you to use a variable to represent a machine id, error code, etc. You may want to check in your documentation for Insight Manager if you need this capability.
