I am Notepager Pro, version 3.0, and am pretty happy with it. I have one hitch, though. When I send a page to a group, Notepager hangs up the modem after each recipient. Is there a setting that will let them go out as a bunch? I am able to do this from my home modem, but not the work one, and I can't seem to find the difference.

Jeff,

Go into the settings of each of your carriers. Do you have anything set in message limit?

I had been leaving them at 0. Should they be set to something else? My longest group list is 10 pagers. Not tremendously annoying, but it does tie up the paging terminal phone for a while, which might get us in trouble with the County Dispatch Center.

What's the make and model of the modem? Also, what carrier are you submitting the messages to?

It is a US Robotics model 5686 external. I am connecting to a propretary paging terminal at our county dispatch center. I can send the multiple messages at home, just not at work. The home computer uses an antique internal modem, circa 1997, US Robotics, I think.

This sounds very similar to a problem that I worked through with a different client a few weeks ago. I could connect and send multiple pages through his terminal from the outside but when he tried it from the inside, it would only send them one at a time. If you would, email the specific connection information for the carrier and how it's configured both internally and on your home computer.

Oh, the email address is support@notepage.com - forgot to include it in the last post.
