SOL aren't we?

My company uses NotePager Pro with Ameritech (via SNPP) as a vital part of daily activities. Today, every message we attempt to send says the following in the dialer log:

Start connection to carrier: Ameritech
Connect using SNPP protocol
Unable to connect to carrier
Disconnected from server

I read all the similar issues and the corresponding solutions... one problem, parts of NotePager Pro (Connection, Setup, General settings, etc.) are password protected and no one knows the password... we've tried the possibilities and a few more ("chicken" was a favorite).

We're part of a network and our IT support department "doesn't deal with [i]outside[/i] programs" and everything [i]they're[/i] responsible for has remained unchanged. I think we might be up a creek without a paddle... or password in this case. Any ideas?

SBC Paging, Ameritech Paging, Ameritech, and ACS Wireless are all affiliated with the same SNPP terminal. I know that they've been having "issues" over the past week - perhaps you could contact your paging company rep and get the new SNPP host URL - Please let the rest of us know if you find one
