When will we be seeing an upgrade to PageGate?

Depends on your definition of "upgrade" - what version are you currently running? Version 4 was the last release - I have several Version 5 BETA sites running. Is there a specific feature you need?

I forgot to send a reply! What is different in the v5 from v4?

There are several enhancements to v5 beta. Several of them have to do with administration:

- Master and Slave servers can be setup to propigate settings between servers (i.e. carriers, recipients, groups, etc.)
- User login and security enhancements
- Settings that follow users from workstation to workstation
- Display groups (for limiting what recipients each users can see)
- Moving of older messages to an 'Archive' database
- Easier setup of GetWeb interface and templates
- Improved report generation speed on some reports
- Easier management of logging levels (summary/detail/debug)

The dialers have a few improvements:
- Mechanism to limit the number of digits in a PIN number (good for carriers that use 10 digits for Internet protocols, but 7 digits for TAP)
- HTTPS support for WCTP servers

Monitoring Improvements:
- PG Monitor can now be used in conjunction with NotePager Pro on a standalone workstation, to send text/email alerts when particular error conditions are detected in the paging server (i.e. modems not able to dial out because of no dialtone).

GUI Client improvements:
- Better login/security options
- Ability to program a preset message to be delivered to a predetermined set of recipients/groups
- Optional large visual warning on message failures

New Interfaces:
- SNPP inbound interface
- Touch Tone inbound interface

There are some other small improvements too, that aren't listed here.
