I am trying to setup GetMail to send emails to pagers. We use Exchange 2003 as email server. I need to Pagegate to get the emails for a specificed mailbox and send pages out.

Note: Our exchange server does not have POP enabled.

Unfortunately, you must enable POP on your exchange server in order for PageGate to collect the messages from a specific mailbox that Exchange is hosting. Otherwise, Exchane will see PageGate's incoming Port 110 request and automatically deny it.

There is another options (actually a better option than POP, but harder to setup in MS Exchange).

Since PageGate acts as an SMTP server, all you need to do is configure your Exchange server to forward all mail for that mailbox to another server. I have had customers do this before, but they made the changes on their end, so I'm not sure the procedure to set that type of thing up in MS Exchange. In PageGate, there really isn't much to setup, other than making sure the 'Local Domain' setting matches the email coming into PageGate.
