NotePage Pro unable to connect with carrier

I have setup up the trial version of NotePager Pro for testing. I have connected a Nokia 6230 to a Windows server 2003 on a usb port. NotePager Pro has picked up the modem on the phone. I'm using TAP and have entered the correct messaging centre number but getting the error messages "NO CARRIER" and "Unable to connect to carrier"

I have setup the carrier and the Dialer Log says it is dialing the carrier.

Wait... if you connected a Nokia 6230, are youw anting to have the rpgoram literally dial into the carrier(s) or are you wanting to use the cel phone to have the comptuer send the SMS messages?

The Nokis 6230 is a GSM cellular phone -you should be using GSM-AT as the protocol, not TAP. Alternatively, it is possible to configure the Nokis 6230 to act as a "standard" modem - but that has to be done in the PC Operating System and has nothing to do with NotePager Pro or PageGate.
