I was trying to send text messages to cell phones & pagers via TAP port of Rogers wireless network in Toronto. All the cell phones received the text messages but all the pagers did not.
Is there any specific TAP terminal number specially assigned for pagers?

Have you tried these?
http://www.notepage.net/tap-phone-numbers-q.htm

Also - are you sure that the pagers are actually on the same network?

I am pretty sure all the cells & pagers are on the same network, they are Rogers Wireless Network.

And I also tried all the TAP numbers listed in the Tap Modem Phone Numbers for Toronto area, i.e., area code 416.

But pagers not working.

The setting is 7.e.1, 2400 baud.

Look at your connector logs - were the messages bound for the pagers marked "SUCCESSFUL" or "FAILED"? If Failed, the logs should show a reason (EXAMPLE: Invalid ID means that that pager is not active on that terminal)

I opened up log connector and it shows all the pagers marked SUCCESSFUL but no text messages flowed to the pagers.

Is there any possible that huge volume of text messages blocked out data flowing to pagers then after 24 hours, all the text messgaes will be lost?

Anything is possible I suppose - but I have many installations of PageGate that are sending thousands of messages daily without the problem you are describing. Since the receiving terminal is marking the messages successful, you will have to have a chat with the carrier's support folks. Once PageGate (or Notepager Pro) receives the successful notification from the carrier - it is out of our hands. That message indicates that the data was successfully received for a valid ID. It MAY be the fact that the pager is out of range of the transmission tower

I called the carrier and was told that their TAP services will be shut off in the very near future. In my understanding, all the system which is using Modem dial-up access, will be no longer able to work. This is Toronto Rogers Wireless Network, is anywhere else have same issue? This is weird because all the customers will have to either upgrade the system or stop business.

Sorry! All the TAP ports with Rogers/AT&T wireless will be shut off service, which means Rogers/AT&T global will shut off TAP service to the public.
