Yes I have members of my Fire Company would like to recive pages to their Phones from our Note pager software but I don't have clue on how to get them to work well. I have added in carrier but I don't know if I should add in Verizon or Comcast? Comcast is our Internet provider at our station.
I do know who to add in their @vtext.com emails but I just don't know to get them to be able to get the page messages.

Any help would be great
Dan

2. Carrier: enter the recipient's cell phone or pager carrier name.
3. Protocol: select SNPP, WCTP or SMTP.

I get this message even after I turn off outgoing email scanning for emails.

Your email message was unable to be sent because your mail server rejected the message." (1003,11) or (1003,12)

Dan - Are you getting this message from PageGate or are you receiving that message in an email?

No I get this message from our Antivirus software. I did un-check scanning of out going emails but I still get the message and it will not sned the text to the mobile phone.
I even un-checked incoming emails to be scanned since this computer is not use for incomming emails to the computer, thye just check their email on line when on the pc.
I am wondering since this computer is hooked to a server (Domain) would the server Antivirus progam have any thing to do from blocking it to go out?? The server and this pc both use their own Norton Antivirus software, the pc internet is ranned thru the server for connection.
When applying what knid of message for mobile pohone which should be checked? Maybe this could be possible causing it as well?
It is furstating to see it work and then hits this Block wall.
Would the server version work better for this as well?

Do you have the program configured to use DNS for direct delivery or are you using the "Deliver through local mail server" option in the settings of your SMTP carrier?

It is click on deliver directly to destination server.
Local Domain is vtext.com since I had it set up to verizon.com and it would not even go throu, but it did try to go throu with the domain being vtext.com but Norton Anitvirus stop it as a virus email going out per my message above yours.

Here aremy DNS Server numbers if this helps out.
Server 1 68.87.73.242
Server 2 68.87.71.226

Now I have again turned off scanning outbound emails and spam and I still get the message from Norton that it could not send out message.

Ah... the local domain shouldn't be vtext.com - that's the domain for the recipient (phonenumber@vtext.com). Your local domain is the latter half of your email address. For example, I would use notepage.com since my email address is support at notepage dot com

Also, just out of curiosity, what ISP are you using?

I also tried with verizon.com last as provider as well and it still would not go thru. I kept on getting the message from Norton stating it would not send message thru do to it has been scan as out going spam. If you like I can email you later on the message it gives me,but I don know how to put it in here as a attachement.

If your anti-virus software (Norton) is stopping the messages from going out, then you are going to have to change a setting in that software to allow the messages to leave.

Well I tried that already which was unchecking the out going email scans and Norton still will not let the message go. Now I could try to just turn off incoming & outgoing email scans since no one on this computer reads their email in Outlook Express or Outlook. Who ever signs on this PC goes to the Internet and checks their personal emails thru Webmail.
Now we do have some members that have Nextel thru Sprint and I have not tried those phones yet and I was thinking about trying them to see if they go thru with out a problem.
