Since the pagers are through American Messaging, I'd actually recommend using the SNPP protocol instead of the TAP protocol.

Reset the protocol to SNPP and use this for the host: snpp.americanmessaging.net

Then when you configure your recipients, use the 10 digit pager number (no spaces or dashes) as the ID/PIN.

This may sound like an odd question but do you have a modem in your computer? Judging by what you posted, I would assume you do but I wanted to verify.

As for the dialing a one, you would need to do that in the carrier settings. If you go into the carrier settings, it should have a field for the phone number. If you're hearing a message that asks you to enter a 1 before dialing, you'll need to make sure that the phone number in the carrier settings is the full phone number including the 1 and area code.

We managed to get it working with the American Messaging WCTP host since I couldn't figure out why it was asking to use a 1 when we were using a 1 in the phone number and port 444 had been blocked on their network.
