We want to be able to send messages, by writing straight to the Access Database......Which is pretty straightforward and easy.....

The problem is that we want to be able to write to the database the pager number (and not previously saved recipient) and the carrier name( with all the previous information saved)....basically don't want to replicate our complete database on the access side..........

Our data is stored on the same server on SQL and its a nightmare to keep our data synced up with SQL and access....

Is there an integration document that can be used as reference? So far we could only find this link http://www.notepage.net/download/pgintegration.txt
which is a txt file, not very comprehensive.

Well, there is a way to do what you want. You will have to define the carriers in the program, otherwise the program won't know how to contact the carriers.

Instead of defining a list of static recipients, though, you could create a single ad-hoc recipient tied to each carrier. Then when you write your messages to the messages table, you would reference the ad-hoc user as the recipient and pass the ID/PIN or email address to be contacted.

But I believe that ad-hoc is only supported for pagegate with 5000 users and above......

Is their a way for us to be able to test that now before we purchase the product and move to the next step..........

regard

Yes, the ad-hoc feature is only available for licenses of 5000 recipients or more.

You can download the demo version of Pagegate from our website, http://www.notepage.net - just click on the Download option under the PageGate section in the center of the page.

ah, yes. If you would, please email support at notepage dot com with a request for the 30 Day Evaluation Key that will unlock every function of the program for 30 days and it will be sent to you.
