When printing a report, the report format allows the last line to print too close to the bottom of the page, which cuts the line off in the middle. This occurs on every sheet which prints to the bottom of the page. How do we format the printer to allow a margin at the bottom of the page?

Can you please post the exact report your are printing, and the exact settings you are using on the report settings screen. We will try to reproduce the problem here, which will make the problem a lot easier to address. |

It is not any one report that does this, but all of the reports will cut off at the bottom. We are using HP Laserjet printers. It appears that the margins are set too narrow. Please advise how we can adjust the printing.

When you preview the report on the screen, does it look cut off there? |

No, it shows it all on one page with a little space at the bottom.

Two more questions:
After hitting the 'Print' button for the report, a printer choice screen appears. You can look at properties for the selecte printer at this point.
1. what papersize is the default?
2. any other settings on that screen(s) that may be related?
3. does the same thing happen if you choose to print landscape?
Thanks |

1. Letter (8 1/2 X 11) the only option under Paper/Quality is Tray Selection
Paper Source Automatically Select
2. The only option under Layout is Orientation- Portrait
Landscape
3. If I choose Landscape they still print out the exact same way as Portrait

Unfortunately we haven't been able to duplicate the problem as of yet. However, I do have an upate that may fix the problem. Would you be williing to test it for us? If so, please send an email to 'forumsupport@notepage.com' requesting it.
Thanks. |
