I have clients that have Pagegate client installed. The software has been working fine up until recently. A select few clients are now getting the following error message...

The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFilenameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL

This is only happening to a few clients, reinstalling the application has not fixed the problem. We are currently running v4.0.

Any suggestions?

Just curious - did your clients recently upgrade to IE7?

You had the right idea, trying to uninstall and reinstall but there's a step in the middle that needs to be done.

After you've uninstalled the client, browse to the Temp directory for both Windows and the User you're currently logged into windows as. Delete the contents of the Temp folders. The two paths you'll specifically want to clear are:

c:\windows\temp\

c:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Temp\

Once you've deleted the temp files, download the last update for PageGate Version 4 here:

http://www.notepage.net/download/pgv4.0.9.exe

Run the PageGate Client installation from that file.

The client does have IE7 but so do I and Pagegate is working fine for me.

I have also removed all of the files in the Temp directories in the windows\temp directory and the user's temp directory but still get the same error even after installing the latest update for PageGate Version 4.

Any other ideas?
