Ours is a medical redalert messaging application which knows the Pager No where the messages using SNPP protocol needs to be sent. But the doctors really don't recollect who is the service provider for their pager.
Is there anyway I can get the URLs of the provider (like nntp.skytel.com), if just given the pager no?

There isn't a way to do it that I know of, though there may be a way that exists out there somewhere. If you do find a way, we'd be most interested in knowing.

It takes a little digging but there are several telecom related engines that will return the carrier RESPORG info and, often, Central Office information associated with a particular 10 digit number in North America. These used to be about 99.99% reliable prior to the wireless number portability. Fortunately, Pager Numbers (aka AAA DID's) are not (yet) portable.

Tx Ozcom. Can you suggest where I should start looking. Is there any URL you recollect or somekind of directory, yellow page or 1 800 no I can use ? Is this expensive?
