This solved my problem back in Jan. However, since about 1 week now, I haven't been getting any messages. The TAP number seems to be working when dialing it. Pagegate also says message was received successfully, but no page. Anyone having this problem or knows what I can do to get them? Thanks!!

Cingular started making changes to the former ATT test messaging systems recently. If I were you, I'd doublu check with your "local" CSR. Good Luck!_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

Cingular has been doing something "behind the scenes".
Some customers have reported that TAP terminals which they have been using for years, are no longer accepting their ID/Pins.
We strongly recommend that you contact Cingular.

As of this past week, Cingular is changing the address used for SMTP messaging to former ATT Wireless clients. The old address was 10digit#@mobile.att.net - the new address for those phones will be 10digit#@mmode.com_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

Since Cingular has taken over AT&T, I know there is/has been changes to the text messaging. We still use the older (V60i) phones which we still have a contract under the old AT&T. Text messaging included. But now the TAP number we have been using just doesn't send out the messages. It rings in to them, and seems to work, but they don't forward it. I am wondering since we still have the AT&T older service with contract and cannot use the Cingular text messaging since we don't have that "chip" they require in the phone, will we ever be able to get these messages?
