In our organisation staff are continually changing roles and paging devices are handed from one person to another so we need to update the recipient name, but keep the device information the same. The new recipient must also continue to appear in any groups the old recipient was a member of.

Is there anyway to easily achieve this as at present it doesn't appear that you can edit the recipient name once it's entered into the system.

In Recipient Settings, the "Recipient" field is not editable. The "Full Name" field is though.

In your case, where devices are traded off frequently, but actual group membership for the device doesn't change, we suggest that when you "Add" a Recipient, do not use people's names in the "Recipient" field. Use a device name - i.e. "pager_1", "noc_3".

You can use the current holder's name in the "Full Name" field. The "Full Name" is displayed in PG GUI Client and the web pages generated for "GetWeb" .
