I am using pagegate 3.13 since long time ago with the eventual problem that some email makes the getmail module halt, I delete this email and all starts to work again but lately with the spam increase I have this problem almost every day, I tried to update to version 3.7 but the problem is worst because I have to delete almost all the emails in order getmail starts to work again bacause it says that is unable to access the file/directory, there is a solution for this? please help.

Can you copy and paste the GetMail log errors (PGGMail.log) into a post, so that we can see the exact error?

Stop GetMail.
Create a folder named "Badmailin"
Move the contents of the "Mailin" directory to the "Badmailin".
Start GetMail
Zip the "Badmailin" directory and send it to us at forumsupport@notepage.com.

Please include your Name and phone number in the email,

PageGate SMTP message handling has been improved in the latest version of PageGate (version 4). I believe that if you upgrade to version 4, it will resolve the issue.

When I use your message files in my installation of PageGate (v3.7), my "GetMail" log indicates an error.

12/13/2004 1:31:13 PM Program Halted. Error# 5 Invalid procedure call or argument in Procedure: check_for_messages
12/13/2004 1:31:15 PM Module Started

When I place those files into PageGate (version 4.0), GetMail is able to read and accept the messages as it should.

Customer is upgrading to PageGate 4.0, and will notify us if there are any new issues.
