I have setup a pagegate server on a Windows 2000 server. I am able to do sendpage32 to my pager if you run that program locally on the server. Somehow we need to have other windows 2000 server to send pages I shared \\<server>\PageGate where the sendpage32.exe is located and the polling directory is also shared \\<server>\Pages I tried running this on a Windows 2000 server commandline;

\\<server>\PageGate\sendpage32 -dir=\\<server>\Pages <Group> <Sender> <Messages>

If I run that, the command line hangs. AM I missing a step?

While at the 'other' server try this as a test:

1. Map a drive letter to the \\<server>\Pages folder

2. Get out to a command prompt

3. Change to that drive

4. type sendpage <Group> <Sender> <Message>
(note: use sendpage not sendpage32 from a DOS prompt)

If you have trouble with this, then you are probably dealing with a rights problem.

If it works, then try running this:

\\<server>\Pages\sendpage32 <Group> <Sender> <Message>
