PageGate requiring Authentication

In our SMPTin logs, I am seeing this message when our SolarWinds server tries to send alert emails to PageGate. We do not have it configured to require auth so I am unsure why we are seeing this message. SolarWinds is reporting a "Socket connection was aborted by remote host."

5/1/2025 3:35:58 PM > 530 Authentication required to relay
5/1/2025 3:35:58 PM > 221 PageGate SMTP Server Disconnected
5/1/2025 3:35:58 PM < SMTP Connection Disconnected

Is it possible to disable authentication to PageGate or is this where this problem exists.

If you would, please email us the full set of logs from the server so we can cross-reference a few things.

To find the log location:
1) Open PG Admin

2) Go to Program - Settings

3) Make a note of the Log Directory's location

Email the text files in that folder to support at notepage dot com
