Are you our NotePager Pro or PageGate software? |

Under the Carrier's settings, go to the Template object. On the Template screen, in the Settings section add:
From=noreply@trinity-health.org
The mail server you are sending out through may or may not like that new setting. Some servers insist that the sender (from field) matches the account being used to send to the mail server, so be prepared to change it back if messages start getting rejected. |

Just curious, Is there a way to dynamically, generate the value for the FROM variable. I looked at the documentation for "Variables for SMTP/Email" and see that there are "%" wrapped values that can be used in the template.
We have a problem with AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile in that they will block an email based on the FROM address so I go in and change the FROM variable and that solves the issue until the next time. Is there a way to use a system %value% that would generate a FROM ?
For example, mcpager%MDY%@trinity-health.org where the %MDY% variable is 01022024 or whatever there might be to achieve a similar result.

That isn't something the base templating system can do but is definitely something you could do with PageGate's filter scripting system.
You would need to have the Filter Script Pack as a part of your PageGate license and then you could create a filter that would be able to dynamically alter the From variable by inserting nearly anything you wanted. |

In the context of email specifically, we recommend making sure the "from" address is a real mailbox to avoid any spam detection issues. |

In NotePager Pro, you would go to Tools - Settings General.
In PageGate, the sender value can be set up multiple places, so we would need to know more about how you have the program configured? |
