Trouble Texting to Verizon Wireless via SMTP

Hello;
After switching to Verizon Wireless smart phones, (Casio Commando), and having trouble with our old paging software, I downloaded the 30 day trial of Notepager Pro, and cannot receive texts on these phones.

I set the carrier up as "smtp-bb.vtext.com" and the recipient is:
"tendigitnumber@vtext.com" as instructed, and as it worked on the old software. The scroll on the side says "successful", but the phone just does not receive the text message!!

I have tried both "deliver directly to destination server" and "deliver through local email server" with the smtp-bb.vtext.com entered. Both ways say successful, but no message comes through.

Hopefully these help, and any help you can provide will be great. I would like to possibly purchase this product, but I must be sure that it works first.

In NotePager Pro go to Tools->Settings->General and put a valid email address in the Sender field. That should help.

All right. Thank you. That did the trick. I am now receiving the texts.

I'll now have to play with it for awhile, and see how it works.
