|

We upgraded from Pagegate V4 on a win 2003 box to V5 on in 2008 running IIS7. We installed the new software, copied the pagegate.mdb file, registered the software. The database built OK upon restart, we can page out OK with the client, but we can't get the web server up and running. We are on a shared server that has another application running. We did not find the signatures files (script folder) built within the IIS directory. We have GetWeb checked on the configuration screen. We also followed the steps in the IIS7 configuration help page. Can we run Pagegate on a system with another web server on it? Where do the script files come from?

Are you running in to any errors when you try to use the paging website? When you say it's not working, can you be a little more specific with what you're seeing and when you're seeing it?
You can run PageGate on a system with another web server on it, yes. The script files are part of the base PageGate installation and are copied in to place when you specify the directories in the GetWeb setup. |

Looks like we are having issues with the "getweb install". Can I get the tutorial for "Getweb Install" for IIS7 on win 2008 server?

Followed the instructions for creating the website on IIS 7 on a 2008 server. My questioned to you how do you access it now. Tried http:\\server name\scripts, http:\\server name\scripts\webgate.exe. Nothing seems to work. It changed to use CGI now. Everything is started and status is good. Our old server had a virtual directory call everyone and had some htm files that the user will execute. The new one looks to be CGI based. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!
