My apologies if this is already covered somewhere, but is there anyway to save the presets on the PageGate client. We run this in our Communications Center and when we restart the client and or the computer, the presets are erased and have to be reentered.

If the Client isn't saving the presets when you close and re-open it, it means that the user you're running the client as doesn't have sufficient rights to write the changes to the presets file. The easiest way to fix that would be to log on to the computer as an Administrator, run the Client and go to the File - Setup screen.
Once there, change the location of the Presets file to a location that all users can have full rights to. You may want to create a directory off of the root hard drive like c:\pgpresets\ or something like that.
After you set that, all users who log in to the system should be able to add, edit or remove presets. |
