|
|
Hi I am a SolarWinds consultant and have a customer who is having problems with Note Pager Pro trying to configure his installed modem for SolarWinds Alerts.
Windows has given COM 3 to the modem and it seems to be installed ok. When trying to use the Modem configuration wizard it searches the COM ports 1... 2.... 3.... 4.... and then just crashes.
I have no experience with Note Pager, so looking for help....
Any ideas?
Thanks

Rather than let the modem wizard try to find the modem automatically, go in to Tools - Settings - Modem and manually set it to Modem Port 3, then apply that change. |

Sorry this has been so long in coming back to you.
When we set the com port manually we get:
Is the carrier setup correct? But the Modem and GSM device is also setup and working.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Kedron,
If you tried to attach something to your forum post, it didn't come through. What message are you receiving? |

Hi
The message we get is the question; Is your Carrier set up correct?
But as I say; the Modem and GSM device is setup and working.
Thanks
Phil
