|
|
Off and on we will get failed paging attempts on some people and then successful on the same people the next time. It seems to happen when we are doing a major page all. We will get a few that are missed, so they have to be repaged again.
Any ideas where I can look else at to figure out these issues other than the logs? Can the system handle all of these pages as once? Is it designed to handle so many at a time. Is there another tool I can use to determine where the problem is?

Your logfiles will show the failure reason. Could be any number of things - Are they all on the same carrier? Does that carrier have a limit of how many mesages in a single session?_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

If you would, please send all of the logs to support at notepage dot com so I can have a look at why the messages are failing. PageGate should be able to handle all of the traffic you're trying to push through, it's just a matter of whether or not certain factors are causing the receiving carriers to reject the messages or refuse the connections. |

Not the reports, no. The log files. They should be located in the c:\pagegatedata\logs\ folder on your hard drive and are text documents that will use the .log file extension. Example: pagegate.log, pgsched.log, etc. Please send all of the .log files. |
