I am getting a message via GetMail. I need to prepend a string of characters to the payload before/when it is sent out to the carrier via WCTP. Is this possible?

Thanks,

Taylor

Yes, you can create a template for the carrier that adds those characters before the message. Here's what you'll do:

1) In Windows, run NotePad.

2) In NotePad, type the following:

[yourspecialcharactershere]%Message%

3) Go to File - Save As.

4) Change the Files of Type to All Files.

5) Change directory into the PageGate Program directory.

6) Name the file <carriername>.mtp
NOTE: Don't let it add a .txt extention to the file. Also, it has to match the WCTP carrier's name exactly, including capitalization.

7) Click on Save.

8) Stop and Start the PageGate services.
