Hi ,

I set up my PC to connect to my T630 Sony Ericson via Infra Red. Communication from PC to T630 is OK. And doing a modem query in Windows 2000 is fine, be it in COM 1 or COM 2.

Somehow, while in notepager pro, under the modem search, it cannot find the modem.

Can Anyone advise ?

Also, I am using it with Singapore Telco - M1 and Singtel and Starhub.

Anyone have any idea which protocols they support or where can I find this info, since they don't reveal it when I call their Customer Service Support.

Thanks

First thing to try is to test communications over the COM port. Go into Hyperterminal and choose COM1 (or COM2, depending which the IR port is using) for the 'connect using' field. Try setting the baud rate to 9600, parity to none, databits to 8, stopbit to 1, and no flow control. When you get the somewhat blank terminal screen, type AT <enter>, and you should get OK back.

If that works fine, then go into NotePager Pro, and set the modem port to whatever COM port you used above. Then setup a carrier to use the GSMAT protocol, and using the communication settings above.
