Individual carriers will need to be set up. Select the relevant carrier for each person or recipient you intend to text message. NotePager Pro enables you to send text messages from your computer, using an Internet cable modem to multiple carriers, who then pass the text message over their wireless network to the recipient's cell phone or pager.
The Wizards will walk you through the set up process. In the NotePager Pro menu bar select 'Tools'|'Wizards' and then select an option. When adding a new carrier select, from the drop down list, an Internet cable protocol SNPP, WCTP or SMTP. When adding the carrier Verizon select 'SMTP. When adding recipients, who use Verizon Wireless Service, enter the SMTP email address format: '10digitphonenumber@vtext.com'.
