Does PageGate allow for multiple databases to be used. Basically I have one Department setup and currently using PageGate. Now a second Department wants to begin using PageGate. Is it possible to keep separate databases for each Department? Or is a separate installation of PageGate recommended. Department A must not be able to see any of Department B's data and vice versa. Does the user security allow for separate administrators under this scenario?

Also the existing set up already has approximately 220 recipients and a dozen groups set up. Not sure sure how that would come into play when setting up security restrictions.

A better method would be to utilize "Display Groups". We have implemented this feature in many of our Public Safety installations. Basically, when you use this feature, you can dictate which recipients a particular instance of guiCLIENT will be able to access.

EXAMPLE:

Dispatch Display can message all recipients in the DB
Fire Display can only message FIRE Display Group recipients and groups
Police Display will only be able to message Police Display group members and groups
