What is the Make/Model/Carrier of your RECIPIENT device?
Were all 106 messages identical text? If so, try checking RELIAPAGE" on the recipient and repeating the test (Reliapage stamps a serial number on each message). I am suspicious if the cellular network is dropping what it perceives as duplicate messages_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

I re tried the test with reliapage turned on. I could see the numbers with random numbers missing.. 1 2 3 4 6 7 8 9 10 12 13 15 16...
I sent 105 messages.
I received 90.
This is still with carrier limit = 3, and the log confirm it reconnects after every 3 messages.
MY phone is LG Dare.
However, we have over 200 recipients with all sorts of phones. Random people complain about not receiving random messages. I don't think the phone is the issue.

To make sure my phone or my account is not the issue, I just went to verionwireless website and sent myself 110 text messages. They all came through fine.
Somehow, Verizon is not receiving all the messages from the modem even though they say successful.
To clarify, I am sending from verizon cdma modem, to verizon phone.

I did another test today (Tuesday). I lost more than 30% of my messages.
I don't think that we will be able to use this modem afterall.

We can only use Verizon, it's some sort of policy to do with bids and such. I REALLY want this to work. Also, who knows how much longer Verizon will offer TAP access. We have had poor results with Verizon SMTP in the past.
If this worked properly, we would likely get another to speed up messages.
The only thing I haven't tried is testing it on another tower, but I don't expect a difference.
I was hoping to hear back from Verizon today, but I don't hold my breath for them to actually help.
How are txt messages able to send from my cell phone so fast? I can send 10 messages in 5 seconds total from my phone, but they take 4 seconds each on the modem.
