The Verizon WCTP and SNPP hosts don't message their cel phones, they only send messages to Verizon pagers. To send a message to a Verizon cel phone, this is what you'll want to do:

1) Left click on the Carriers menu.

2) Left click on Edit

3) Highlight Verizon, click on Edit.

4) Change the Protocol to: SMTP

5) Your Local Domain needs to be set to the latter half of your email address.

6) Enter in your Primary DNS into DNS Server 1 and your Secondary DNS into DNS Server 2. If you're not sure what either of these are, please contact your internet service provider or network admin and ask them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Now that the Carrier has been modified, left click on Recipients.

2) Left click on Add.

3) You can name the recipient whatever you like.

4) The Type should be normal and change the Carrier to SMTP.

5) In the "Email To" field, enter: 10digitcel@vtext.com (example: 7818290500@vtext.com)

6) Make sure that Alpha and Drop non-printable characters are cheked.

7) Click on Apply.

That looks like the DNS connection requests are being rejected. If you would, contact your ISP's Tech Support or your network administrator and ask them these three questions:

1) What SMTP Server can I use?

2) Does that server require authentication?

2a) If the server does require authentication, SPECIFICALLY what authentication credentials should you use?

Once you have that information, please email me at support at notepage dot com because the remainder of the setup is probably something you don't want posted on a public forum because it involves sensitive data.
