Does anyone have the pinout for using the direct serial connection? I am connecting to the Zetron 2700 I have the Zetron side of the house I need to make a cable to go from pagegate server to the Zetron Terminal. Any help would be much appreciated. I have tried searching for it.

Thank you

You should be able to use a standard DB9 cable to go from the PC to the terminal... unless you're referring to the CAP Code PIN in the terminal? I wasn't sure if you were referring to the cable pins or the CAP Code pins.

Zetron accepts a 25 pin cable and uses pins 2, 3 and 6 I need to figure out which ones on the db9 cable are used in this fashion.

Oh. I'm not sure, to tell you the truth. I'd check with Zetron on that one.

Below is the configuration for Zetron. I just need to know how pagegate utilizes the 9 pin serial connection so I can go from 9 pin (pagegate) to the 25 pins for Zetron. Basically a 9 pin to 25 pin cable is what I need to make. Any thoughts? Thank you for your help

Purpose Pins

Chassis Ground 1
Transmit Data (TD) 2
Receive Data (RD) 3
Request to Send (RTS) 4
Clear to Send (CTS) 5
Data Set Ready (DSR) 6
Signal Ground 7
Carrier Detect (CD) 8
Data Terminal Ready (DTR) 20
Ring Indicator (RI) 22

Try a standard RS-232 serial cable with a DB9 to DB 25 adaptor.
