Hi all,
I am running the Notepager Pro as a plug-in for my ORION application. Everything runs on a VMWare Server edition (freeware) with Windows Server 2003 std/SP2. Everything was working fine until about a week ago when my modem started giving a 330 error code and failing to deliver SMS. The modem is an HSPDA USB HUAWEI (model E220) and connected on COM port 4 of my VMware server. I am using GSMAT as the protocol for sending SMS.
Here is the dialer log output:

I have also checked the modem's signal strength through hyperterminal and I get:
OK
+CSQ: 99,99
Finally, connected through hyperterminal, I keep getting the following message:
^BOOT:31384931,0,2,0,6
Any help would be appreciated!

the result from the signal strength indicates that the cellular device is NOT registered on a cellular network_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

Thank you Oz. Is there a way (through hyperterminal and AT commands) to force the modem to register to a cellular network so Notepage can pick up from there?
I could not find any good documentation on AT commands related to 3G SIMs.

Not really - cycling the power on the device will re-register it with the network, but if the device can't "see" the cellular system via Radio Frequency, or if that device is not actually activated on a particular cellular network, it will not work_________________ Aaron D. Osgood
