| Hi, ThnX for reply,
-- to Tech Support ETSI has defined a standard called ES-201912 that specifies two protocols (Protocol 1 and Protocol 2) to provide the SMS over PSTN/ISDN. Actually they are both protocols that let us exchange messages through the telephone line. -- to OzCom Thnx... I had seen this before... It has one problem and that is : I don't want a hardware stuff. I want a software. but I haven't found till now. I don't understand why nobody has worked on such a software. any idea for this issue? | Hi all,
this question is extremely important and critical for me. please answer if you have an idea about it. I wanna know : does any body know/have seen any thing about sending sms through PSTN (phone line) with the standard computer modem? ( using Protocol 1 as the protocol) In my country the fixed line sms is available but the FSMSC is compatible with Protocol 1. I don't know what TAP or UCP is, but what ever I have seen till now about my question, used TAP / UCP to connect to a SMSC. I don't understand how they are working neither. I really need any helps from you. Regards. Zahra |
