Yes, I've gone through that with Perle and Multi-Tech, no resolution.

I have a Perle PCI-RAS 4 card with 4 Multi-Tech V.92 modems. I'm using this with PageGate "GetASCII". All runs well but then the software will stop "talking" to the modem and make it unreachable without a system soft reboot.
Is this a known problem and do you have a solution short of rebooting which in this case is a production server Running EMC Smarts (IONIX).

I'm getting the following:
"530 Authentication required to relay" when I'm trying to send a received smtp email message to a valid Blackberry number.

I would like to integrate this product with EMC Smarts to dial out when the email system or the network is not available. I have a four port modem installed in the server with appropriate lines. Has anyone used the escalation process of Smarts to use this software to utilize the modems for sms text out?
