i got the software to stop crashing by deleting and then adding the receiptant and carrier. however, it takes two attempts to transmit the message. my new issue is that i can no longer see the connection monitor. any suggestions? thanx. | |

The Note Pager software is shutting down is the middle of transmitting a page. The following microsoft error report is being generated. Anyone else have this issue?

how do i get the error report off the computer? as i stated the report is quite long but there is no way to copy and paste the report. this computer is not usually connected to the internet. there is no additonal firewall installed other then the standard microsoft xp.

okay. i followed all 15 steps and still having the same issue. this time i put the computer on line to get the the data in the microsoft error report. it is obviously code and is very long. i cannot paste and copy the report. is there a way to send you the error report? is there certain information to look for in the error report?

I recently changed computers and moved the NotePager Pro over to a XP OS. It will send out one or two pages. Then it will crash with a on screen message stating that the software has encountered an error and must close. Then the OS wants to send an error message to microsoft. But the computer is not internet accesable and wont display the error message until it connects with microsoft. Suggestions for resolution. | |

AT&T IS NOT schizophrenic THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. I HAVE SPENT OVER 11 HOURS TALK TIME WITH THEIR 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' PEOPLE. NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ENTERPRISE PAGING SOLUTION! THEIR SURLY REPS WILL NOT LET YOU TALK TO ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING. "I HAVE TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE MYSELF THE REPS KEPT REPLYING. YESTERDAY I SAID FINE I WILL PAY THE $45 JUST TURN THE SERVICE ON. THE REPRESENTATIVE SAID IT IS ACTIVATED. POWER THE PHONE DOWN AND TURN IT BACK ON. SO I DID THAT AND STILL NO TAP SERVICE. NONE OF THE TAP NUMBERS THEY PROVIDED WORKED. APPARENTLY THE TAP NUMBER I HAD WAS PROVIDED BY SPRINT. AT&T CALLED SPRINT AND OPENED A TROUBLE TICKET WITH MY NAME AND NUMBER. SPRINT KEEPS CALLING ME AND ASKING HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH AT&T. WHEN I CALLED AT&T AND THREATENED TO CANCEL ALL 81 CELLS PHONES DUE TO THEM CHANGING THE CONTRACT THE SERVICE STARTED WORKING. GOOD LUCK FINDING OUT ANY INFO FROM THESE IDIOTS.

what tap number are you using?
the two posted here do not work. the '866-883-7243' posted here sez 'unable to connect to carrier'. the '408-961-2819' replies back with TAP but in the monitor it sez 'received 512 error: invalid or non cingular wireless number'. the TAP is was using before THAT WORKED PERFECTLY 800-469-5351 still rings busy. |

thanks to this forum and having the searchable words 'enterprise paging network' the customer service agent is stating i must 'upgrade' my service plan to receive the TAP messages. if you use the the url link you mention you have to 'log in' before it will give you any info or it bounces you back to the main at&t wireless home page. i have over 50 doctors we use this service with. THIS IS OUTRAGIOUS!....I just purchased a new iphone and changed service from Verizon to AT&T. The TAP worked for two weeks and then just stopped working with no prior notification. When i called AT&T the 'customer service' operator knew nothing about TAP service. After speaking to 3 surly 'problem resolution' operators they stated there was a line problem that was being corrected. Now i cannot find anyone who knows anything about this 'enterprise service'. Verizon, Sprint, & Nextel continue to provide this service included with the cell service.
i suggest sending an email to AT&T stating dissatisfaction with this new price increase for service previously included. "darlene.oakley@attwireless.com" |

i have two issues w/ my notepager pro and an us robotics external 56k modem. first under the connection monitor, it takes 3 or more commands for the modem to 'hang up' . this ties up the program and slows down multiple messages. second i am having issues transmitting messages to verizon. it takes 2 or three attempts to successfully transmit a message. when notpager connects to the carrier the modem just sits in connection mode. occasionally the message will completly fail. i have reinstalled and updated the driver. any suggestions? | |
