Some time today i started to have messages fail. We have looked into it and think we are black listed somewhere. It's smtp messages that are not going thru to vtext, att, sprint, uscc and maybe more. Right now the work around is a new carrier that directs it thru exchange server and use that as a failover for the SMTP carriers. Any other reports on this?

What are the chances that those carriers use the same black list?

We are swapping out servers soon. Do you have a checklist or some type directions to get pagegate database etc swapped from one computer to another? Thanks, Tim.

Yeah I was headed in that direction ealrier. The only thing in host0 was 127.0.0.1. My old machine name and IP did not appear. So thtas why iIstarted looking elsewhere. I Put the new IP and machine name in host1 and 2. Still not working. Might it be a version issue? were are version 5.0.92.

I am setting up a new pc. I got the Client and the Admin working ok but the monitor does not connect. Nothing has changed on the server and my old pc still has the monitor working. What's the solution to that? Thanks. Tim

Jeremy or Chris, We spoke the other day about putting pagegate on a new server and you helped with the touchtones. I am trying to put a couple aditional admins on a couple secretaries pc and it's not going well. I am getting an unable to create mail folders error. I even logged in to windows as myself just like on my machine that runs admin but still same error. Any ideas?

Is anyone else having trouble sending pages to @email.uscc.net today?

Do you have an exact model name and number for a USB voice modem that will work with the tt module and ascii.

You can force a message to go to SMS on a NEXTEL phone by using
MSNSNPP.NEXTEL.COM port 444

The SMS message appears on the phone much quicker than via NET ALERT or the INBOX. It going across the voice channel so you can receive the message while you are on the phone too.

There is a charge for SMS but they offer packages.

OZ, I know you will see this. Let me know if you need a Govt contact for Sprint/Nextel. I talked to this awesome lady who knows her stuff and does not put you thru all the B.S. with account #'s, tax id's, billing address, etc etc etc.
