| I have a similiar problem - but with a little twist...
The Communication Monitor shows that the messages going to Verizon SMTP users are successful - however - they do not actually go through. I do not have any error messages. I am using the same settings I have always used - all of a sudden last Friday - SMTP messages to Verizon users stopped working. If I use Outlook from the same PC - send an email to the same Verizon user - the message comes through just fine. Below is NPP.log Please help! 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM ==================================== 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM Start connection to carrier: ZVWtest 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM Sending via SMTP 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM ------------------------------------------------ 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM Working on message to: zzzzzzzz ROB from: rwoodford 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM Formatting message 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM Message contained in single packet 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM Looking up mailserver for vtext.com 3/2/2009 2:36:17 PM Trying host: smtp-bb.vtext.com 3/2/2009 2:36:18 PM Connected to: smtp-bb.vtext.com 3/2/2009 2:36:20 PM Sending message 3/2/2009 2:36:21 PM Message sent 3/2/2009 2:36:21 PM Closing connection 3/2/2009 2:36:21 PM Disconnected 3/2/2009 2:36:21 PM SUCCESSFUL To:zzzzzzzz ROB Frm:rwoodford Msg:tesyt 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM ==================================== 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM Start connection to carrier: VerizonWireless 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM Sending via SMTP 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM ------------------------------------------------ 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM Working on message to: King, Dave from: rwoodford 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM Formatting message 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM Message contained in single packet 3/2/2009 3:04:28 PM Looking up mailserver for vtext.com 3/2/2009 3:04:29 PM Trying host: smtp-bb.vtext.com 3/2/2009 3:04:30 PM Connected to: smtp-bb.vtext.com 3/2/2009 3:04:31 PM Sending message 3/2/2009 3:04:32 PM Message sent 3/2/2009 3:04:32 PM Closing connection 3/2/2009 ... |
