It looks like upgrading to 6.0 would be the best option. Are there migration steps for the database?

Hi, I'm running PageGate v5.0 on a virtual machine with 2GB RAM running Windows 2008 with Service Pack 1. The application ran fine for a couple of weeks and then one day then stopped sending pages. When I checked the virtual machine I noticed that the CPU was at 100%. I was not even able to get the machine to shutdown and I ended up powering down the VM.
After the machine came back up, I stopped the PageGate service and rebuilt the database and then started it again. It run fine for over a week and then the same thing happened again. I've seen the issue where the application runs at 100% CPU while sending pages in v4.0, but I never had the application actually stop working. Is this a known 5.0 issue? Regards, Rory |

Hi,
Just to be clear, the GetAscii module in PageGate Server 5.x currently works on Windows 2008 32 bit but does not work on Windows 2008 64 bit? Do you have an estimate as regards to when the 64-bit compatible CLI will be ready? Regards, Rory |

Hi,
My understanding is that there have been database changes from version 4.x to 5.x of the PageGate Server. I was wondering if there is a conversion utility provided for migration of data. Regards, Rory |

Hi, I have customers using PageGate 4.x. I would like to know if the PageGate 4.x client is supported under Windows Server 2003. Also if I upgrade the PageGate Server to 5.x, will existing 4.x PageGate Clients be able to use the new database structure or do I have to upgrade all the client installations as well?
