I uploaded the DB you sent me and it is working now. Not sure how dupicate entries in the settings table were created, but thank you for helping to get this going right away. Rockie

No one that I know of has done anything with the database. It looks like it quit on Friday night looking at the logs. It did have a message on the server when I logged in that the OS needed activated, so I activated it so maybe that messed it up somehow. I sent an email with the database. Thanks for the help!

My pagegate server is not processing any web, email, or snpp pages this morning. I get 2 different errors.
1. When trying to load PGAdmin I get a message;
PG Admin Fatal Error
Error # 94 Invalid operation. In Procedure: about_form load
Pagegate log is clean and module starts without errors, but give the following error in PGSched.

We are using Pagegate 4.0 on Windows 2003 server, and I have been notified of a problem of receiving SMTP messages from our Hospital that uses this very extensively.
One problem that I have been able to duplicate are email messages that are sent from VMware/vSphere 4. I get the subject line but everything after that looks like it is an encrypted message. If I configure Vmware to send the same message to my email account, I get the whole message. They have also said that certain message formats from Outlook 2007 don't work ie; fonts, attachments,signature images. How does Pagegate handle HTML messages?
My office and the Hospital are using the same products (Exchange 2007 & Vmware) so it is easy to test.
Maybe I just need to upgrade Pagegate, but looking for help on getting this fixed.

The PGdial log shows this type of message:

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that I was missing something. I will have to look at this from a different direction to try and come up with a solution. I'm kind of at a loss right now.

To make things worse, I looked at the logs, and when the customers software looses connection to their servers, they send 1 email for each down system (44) to each of the 60 pagers. That totals up to 2640 emails. To add to the problem, they add a disclaimer to the email which files up the total characters limit which is set at 500 characters.
I need help bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been looking and testing with all the settings in Notepage and I can not see any where to control any limits for how many emails for a specified time frame. I tried users, groups, interfaces and connectors.
If there is something I'm missing?
If I need to upgrade I am willing to do that also. I am running PGGmail version 4.0.0.8

They send an email to us using pagernumber@domainname.com, which uses GWTMail.
Right now they are using our adhoc user, but this may have to change. I'm open to just about any change to fix this.

I have a customer that has around 60 pagers that they use to notify their IT staff when a Server or Switch goes into alarm. They send an email to some or all of the pagers, but their server keeps sending the alarm email every 30 seconds to the same group of pagers, until they shut down the notification server, or clear the alarm.
Our paging system can't deliver that many pages, so this in turn ties up our paging server.
Is there any way to limit per pager how many pages it will accept in a certain time frame? This has become a hugh problem because the customer is upgrading some servers, and creating a lot of alarm emails.

Thanks for any ideas anyone can throw my way.

I found this error in the PGGWeb.log if this helps.

My customer service rep call and indicated that email to pager wasn't working. When I log into the server and try to load PG Admin
, I get an error # 94 Invalid use of Null in Procedure:main
I put this new server3 in service about 2 months ago. Windows server 2003. The last thing that was done administratively was, I deleted some ad-hoc email phone ranges. After that it quit working.

I purchased a second dialer, so I can hook one up direct connnected to our paging terminal and one for dialing up to another carrier. I entered the registration key and it states that it is licensed for 2 dialers but the second dialer still says stopped. Is there something special I have to do to activate the second dialer?

That maybe what the problem is, but I can't control how the users email program is configured. If I contact the users about the problem, they will just tell me that they send hundreds of emails the same way everytime and never have a problem and they shouldn't have to reconfigure their computers, so the problem has to be our server.
I will try to load the new version of getmail and see if that will fix it. Will the user get a response that the mail was rejected?

Yes most of the paging customers are using get mail. I also have getweb and snpp running, but it gets used very little (not everyday).
