| Aaron, your last message triggered it for me. We had a local metrocall TAP # we were using but no one had ever associated that number with USAMOBILITY. I used the Metrocall Carrier setup we already had in place, stripped off the area code from the pager # and used that for the PIN #, and it worked great. Thanks for your help!

| Thanks, The system I'm working with does not have any network access so I'm limited to TAP. Any suggestions on TAP settings? | |

| Thanks, so are there folks out there using this with USAMobility (formerly Metrocall) pagers? If so, I'd love to see the settings they're using. I'm not having much luck. | |

| I am using a Motorola Advisor Elite from USAMOBILITY, and they do have valid TAP numbers to dial in to, but I am bewildered as to what they are asking for as far as a PIN number is concerned. All documentation points to the ten digit pager number, but there is also reference to a 7 digit pin #. Any ideas/experience will be appreciated.
thanks! |
