| Thanks to Jeremy for the emails.
I have spoken with Rogers and transferred from department to department. ROGERS calls it email to text. In order to make it work recipients need to have "email to text" active on their account at a cost of $5.00 Funny thing is that when one of our staff went into the local store here to add that on they had no clue what we were talking about and it wasn't on their system. This is a Rogers retail cellular store. Fortunately Rogers does know and have this as the store called in and had that added on. A little known service level apparently in Red Deer? http://www.rogers.com/web/content/wireless-text/email_text?content10=email_text not much info there though. Telus was a breeze. Thanks again Jeremy for the emails |

| Trying to set up the Rogers for SMS to a cell phone. The message is received however, they don't get the message they get an announcement that asks for them to reply they have read the message.
What it says is: "You have mail from C21@century21.ca Please reply with 'Read' to read your message when we reply with "Read" the original message does come thru. Obviously we don't want to continue to do that. Here is more info: I send to the cell number @pcs.rogers.com. Using SMTP protocol. I type in something like testing 1234 or something of that nature. The recipient receives: Is this a common issue? How do I resolve? Other protocol asks for a number and password? Majority of other recipients in the office have TELUS, and there is no issue recieveing for them only the 2 or 3 that have a Rogers phone. HELP with Rogers please. Thanks Patrick |
