Thanks, I do have a ticket open with them. They state nothing has changed, but they're looking into it. Thanks for the quick response.

Sirs,
We have PageGate v5.0, and have been using it for the past year without any issues until yesterday. Our Sprint setup will no longer send text messages. We are using the SNPP protocol from Sprint and the error message we are getting in the Monitor is "550 Authentication Failed. Logon not accepted." All other carries are fine, and nothing has changed on our end. I even tried to reload the server and client software with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Michael Braccia Lt. SMTP
It does not seem to even be opening the connector for ATT. We see Sprint, Verizon etc in the log, but not even an attempt for ATT. |

Ok, new problem that just started today. We are no longer able to send text messages to our ATT recipients throught PageGate. All other recipients are working fine, just our ATT phones. I was able to send text messages to the ATT recipients through Google if that helps. We have not changed anything on the server end. Any suggestions?

Thank you. Just ordered a second connector. We'll test it out and see if it helps.
Thanks again for the quick response. |

Quick question I'm sure you've dealt with before. If we purchase a connector for each carrier we currently send to, in this case 4 total, will that improve the speed with which our recipients receive messages?
Right now if we send an all call text it goes out to 36 recipients over 1 connector. It seems like the same recipients receive the message within a few seconds, while others may take as long as a minute or two. Will the 3 extra connectors help to even the times out if we set each connector to dial a separate carrier? If not, is there anything else we can do that would help this scenario? Thanks in advance. |

Thanks, for the quick reply. The sender names are all domain users and admins, and are setup on the mailserver under the same usernames we are trying to send from, if that helps.

I will send the log files shortly. I also sent the info from the admin console, as the log files did not seem to be updating.
Some more info that may help, I noticed that we are able to send texts under all logins via Sprint which uses the SNPP protocol. The other carriers are using SMTP and we are not able to send to them under other logins. |

I have a workstation setup with multiple logins for multiple users. It is a Windows 7 32bit setup. I am able to connect and send messages on one login but not on any of the others. All logins can see the PageGate server and are pointing to the database with a mapped.
The error we get from the Monitor console says "the client does not have permissions to send as this sender" Any help would be appreciated, thanks. |
