I did a browse out through microsoft network to udpate the polling directory field with a unc name. And browse through explorer "computers near me" out to the same folder, and created and edit and rename ande delete a text file in the folder. But in the Get Ascii - autoscroll I still see the unabel to access file/directory error

We do a net use q: to the share, then the GetAscii setting is
Q:\subf1\subf2\subf3\subf4\
same as in the Windows Explorer

No, it's running as a program. We'll want to run it as a service once we're live, haven't set it to that yet.

This is a new PageGate 4 installation. Pagegate running on a Windows 2000 workstation, the GetAscii Polling Directory is on a Win server 2003 folder, a subfolder on a Share to which the user connecting from the workstation has full control. I can open that folder in Explorer on the same workstation and see, create, delete all the files I want. What is this procedure doing? Is there somewhere else it's trying to look?
