This is weird. this just started this morning one computer. Windows 10 Pro, on a Domain. PageGate worked yesterday. Today, when you click the shortcut, it brings up the red bar stating that page gate is starting, then it tries to install AutoCad, which is already installed on this PC and works fine. Task manager shows that pagegate client is running, and when you end task, all of the install windows go away. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, uninstalled and reinstalled to a different directory, uninstalled and gone thru registry and removed leftover entries, and reinstalled, and it still does it. I have never seen anything like this before. Any suggestions?

The pagers and docking station are all Motorola Advisor II

We started off with Pagegate 4. This year we upgraded to PG5.
In PG4 there was a DOS based program that was used in conjunction with the cradle to program the pagers. The PC that this program was on is failing and has been replaced. We attempted to install on the new unit, but this new machine is a Win 7 64bit unit. Compatibility mode does not work.

Is there an upgrade of the software so we can continue programing our pagers?

We have a 5000 user license, currently using about 400. I am told that we purchased the complete package, which should include the getascii module, however, the getascii checkbox in the registration section is not checked and does not allow me to mark it.

How would I find out if we are supposed to have that module?

We have PageGate, version 4. We are attempting to make use of the GetAscii feature, but have been running into two problems.

Problem one is the service randomly stops working. It will often work for several days in a row, but then the service stops. Sometimes it will only run for a few hours before it stops.

Problem two is that one needs to go into each user and enable the getascii feature on their profile. the problem is, when you get out of one person's profile, and enter another, if you go back to the first user, getascii has been unchecked.
As long as you do not go into another user's profile, the getascii check box will stay checked. As soon as you go into another profile, it is disabled.

Any ideas how to correct these problems?
