I figured out the problem. The reason it wasn't syncing is because the baud rate on the carrier side was set too low. I had to tweak it, now we're squak'n baby! Thanks!

It looks like my modem is connecting to the service provider, however, when connected it's sending "garbly gook" to and from the server. How can this problem be remedied? I reinstalled the drivers, updated the drivers, etc on my modem. Please advise as I am stuck. Thanks in advance!
