Once I called Cinuglar and had them "add" Text messaging to my account the pages now go thru almost instantly. Thanks for the excellent tip.

Thanks for the help. I got it to send and it says the message sent successful in the dialer log. After around 30min the messages have still not reached my phone, i'm assuming this because of something on Cingular's side?

Same thing with 10, from what I can tell we are getting connected to Cingular's TAP terminal....is there something that I have to have Cinuglar turn on for my # before it will work with TAP? Or is TAP only for pagers and not for cell phones?

Ok GetTAP is disabled, still will not send. When I send a message from my GUI client it never sends, it goes from pending to bad.

My settings for Cingular carrier are :

Protocol: TAP
Number: 18009094602
Baud Rate: 1200
Parity: Even
Data Bits: 7
Stop Bits: 1

(7, E, 1)

Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have also tried the other Cingular number.

I can't seem to get Pagegate to send a text to a Cingular Cell phone. (Or any other cell phone) I have the Get TAP setup but the TAP log says

We are using pagegate successfully with Cellular page pagers but we are wanting to get rid of the pagers and page our techs cell phones directly.

PageGate v4 is being ran on a NT4 server (not sure if that is an issue or not)
