I'm particulary newbie at this... I recieved this email regarding my interes in NotePage Software.

NotePage software enables you to send SMS from your computer using a
high-speed internet connection (protocols: SNPP, WCTP, SMTP) or
dial-up modem (protocols: TAP, GSM, UCP, TONE) via recipient's
wireless carriers to cell phones and other wireless devices.

You shouldn't have to pay the wireless provider for SMS sent from
NotePage software. Please contact the provider's technical support, or
check their website for their connection protocol settings. We list
many wireless provider's protocols on NotePage's website at
http://www.notepage.net/support.htm

NotePager Pro software is a graphical windows program for sending SMS
from a computer.

PageGate software accepts input using the front-end Interfaces: GUI,
Web, Email, Commandline/Ascii, Serial and TAP-In. For example, the GUI
Interface is a graphical windows icon for sending SMS from
computer(s). PageGate is a good option for sending a large number of
SMS to a large amount of recipients.

We only charge for NotePage software, which runs on your computer. We
do not charge for the SMS sent from NotePage software."

So he says, the wireless provider should provide a me a gateway so I can Configure NotePage and send all sms's I want for free??

Here in Mexico I don't think so, if wireless carriers charge aprox 0.1 USD per sms (phone to phone) having free sms will be like no business for them right? however if this is correct I'll be amazed. Technically I can send sms's to all over the world for free??

I'd like to make some tests before buying the software, I can Download the trial but I don't have a US phone to test messages sent, ideas?

One provider here in Mexico allow anyone to send sms trough their site, is there anyway to link NotePage to that system and send sms?
